With 7+ years of performance and training, and 5+ years of teaching experience, Zachary is enthusiastic about sharing his improv comedy stylings with Calgary. Line Dancing
Zachary teaches line dance lessons at Ranchmans every Thursday from 9pm-10pm. He has experience teaching beginner and advanced dances. He also has experience teaching at corporate events and weddings! You can book a private or group lesson.

Zachary Dean Friesen was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He started training in improv comedy at the tender age of 15 at the Loose Moose Theatre. He began producing his own shows at just 17, and continued to perform and produce in Vancouver, after he moved there for acting school in 2018 and receiving honours with distinctions from VanArts. Since relocating back to Calgary in 2021, he’s built up his resume as a host doing trivia events, and has continued to produce and perform in his own monthly improv show. He has also taught line dancing for the iconic Ranchman’s bar and for the City of Calgary, as well as for private functions.
